Christina
Orr-West is one of New
Zealand's most talented up and coming young racecar drivers.
Based out
of
Edgecumbe near Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty, the 23 year old, who has
been racing since six, has this season redirected her already
impressive racing career by making the move from single seaters to
touring cars.
The change
of
direction by entering Motorsport New Zealand's premiere racing
championship, the BNTV8s, is a
significant
move forward for her as she goes wheel to wheel with the best drivers
in the country in the nation's toughest and most competitive race series.

Taking the wheel
of Concept Motorsport's second Holden Commodore she
immediately proved herself capable of mixing it with the nation's top
drivers
at the opening
round of the series at Pukekohe Park Raceway in November 2009.
After two seasons in the nation's top racing category she has already
proven to be a serious contender setting
credible lap times and refusing to pull any punches
when caught up in on-track battles with the veterans of the BNT V8s. |
